Important Note for Rainwater Tank Use

For rainwater tank applications, a suitable sediment pre-filter is strongly recommended before this 0.1 micron cartridge. Connecting untreated rainwater directly to an ultra-fine membrane cartridge may cause rapid blockage, reduced water flow or premature cartridge failure.

For rainwater tank use or high-sediment water areas, we recommend using a twin filtration setup with a sediment pre-filter before the 0.1 micron membrane cartridge.

Recommended Option for Hard Water or Rainwater Tank Applications

If you are in a hard water area, or if you are using a rainwater tank and want to improve the water for drinking purposes, we recommend using a twin filtration setup with a sediment pre-filter before the 0.1 micron membrane filter.
