Model K5550 JJ Calcite/Corosex/GAC Acidic Water Neutralizer with Chlorine Reduction

Calcite is a crushed and screened white marble media, which can be used to neutralize acidic or low pH waters to a neutral, less corrosive effluent.

Corosex is a specially processed hard, bead like magnesia, adapted for use in filters to neutralize acidity by increasing the pH value.

General Installation/Operation/Maintenance Requirements

· Note flow direction of filter.
· Flush new cartridge with 5 gallons of water prior to use and check for leaks. If leaks occur, check tightness of tubing and fittings. If leaks persist, discontinue use and call your supporting dealer.
· Replace cartridge when rated capacity (6 Months) is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.
· Install in compliance with state and local laws and regulations.
