 The 5231JA2006A replacement filter suits some LG refrigerators that take a long round filter.  

The filter is usually situated horizontally within the fridge.

This filter replaces: This filter is the correct replacement for older filter part numbers LT600P, 5231JA2005A, 5231JA2006B & Swift Green SGF-LA50. For use in system model 5231JA2006A-S.

The 5231JA2006A/B cartridge is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of Nominal Particulate Class I and Chlorine Taste and Odour.  Not intended for use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

About the 5231JA2006A: The filter is approximately 30.6 cm high and 5.5 cm in diameter. It can filter an estimated capacity of 1135 litres.
